Seafarms Group Limited is engaged in aquaculture project development, aquaculture operations, carbon project management, the provision of environmental services (advisory in ecosystem offsets and carbon farming projects) and trading environmental credits. The Company operates through three segments: Aquaculture, which is engaged in the development of a land-based aquaculture project in Northern Australia by Project Sea Dragon Pty Ltd and prawn aquaculture operations in North Queensland; Carbon Services, which is engaged in the establishment and management of carbon sinks and re-vegetation projects throughout Australia, including the provision of abatement certificates generated from accredited forest carbon sinks owned by the Company and its customers, and trading in environmental credits; and Other, which is the aggregation of the Company's other segments. The Company produces over two types of prawns, such as banana and black tigers, which are sold under Crystal Bay Prawns brand.
