S2 Resources Limited is an Australia-based mineral exploration company. The Company holds a 100% interest in 289 square kilometers (km) in the prospective Central Lapland Greenstone Belt of northern Finland via a mix of granted exploration licenses and exploration license applications. The licenses cover areas, including Agnico Eagle’s 7.4-million-ounce Kittila gold mine, Boliden’s 298 million tons Kevitsa copper-nickel-gold-PGE mine and Anglo American’s 44 million tons Sakatti nickel-copper-PGE deposit. The Company operates through three segments: Finland exploration activities, Australia exploration activities and Unallocated. The Finland exploration activities segment includes exploration and evaluation of mineral tenements in Central Lapland. The Australia exploration activities segment includes exploration and evaluation of mineral tenements in Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria. Unallocated segment includes all other expenses.
