Magontec Limited (Magontec) is a holding company. The Company's principal activities include manufacture and sale of generic and specialist magnesium alloys; manufacture and distribution of magnesium and titanium cathodic corrosion protection products (CCP); research and development of magnesium alloys and technologies; research and development of CCP, and creating markets for magnesium alloys and technologies by supporting demonstration trials and programs for developing applications. It operates through three segments: Admin Units, which are Magontec administrative entities performing a Head Office function consisting of Magontec Limited, Advanced Magnesium Technologies Pty Limited and Varomet Holdings Limited; EUR, which are Magontec operating entities in Europe consisting of Magontec GmbH, Magontec SRL and Magontec LLC, and PRC, which are Magontec operating entities in the People's Republic of China consisting of Magontec Xian Co. Ltd. and Magontec Shanxi Co. Ltd., among others.
