Middle Island Resources Limited is a gold exploration and development company focused on Australia and West Africa. The Company is engaged in carrying out exploration on its tenements, reviewing numerous and pursued various possible project acquisition opportunities (completing contracts to secure one-Sandstone gold project in West Africa) and applying for or acquired additional tenements with the primary objective of identifying economic gold deposits. It has rights to over two projects consisting of approximately seven granted exploration permits, covering an area of over 1,002.39 square kilometers located in Burkina Faso in West Africa and approximately two mining leases in Western Australia. The Reo Project is located in Burkina Faso, approximately 150 kilometers by road west of the capital Ouagadougou. The Sandstone Project and processing facility is situated over 12 kilometers south of the township of Sandstone, approximately 600 kilometers northeast of Perth.
