Jupiter Energy Limited is an Australia-based oil exploration and production company. The Company is focused on developing its onshore assets in western Kazakhstan. The Company is engaged in appraisal, development and production of oil and gas properties in Kazakhstan. The Company holds a 100% interest in an exploration permit (Block 31) located in the Mangistau Basin in Southwest Kazakhstan. The permit covers an area of approximately 123 square kilometers and is located on trend with three existing producing oil fields. The permit is located within the Zhetybai-Uzen step, adjacent to the Akkar North and Northwest Zhetybai oilfields. It produces oil from wells on the Akkar North (East Block), Akkar East and West Zhetybai oilfields. It has completed nine wells on the permit. The production on the Akkar East field is from wells, including J-51, J-52 and 19; production from Akkar North (East Block) is from well J-50; and production from the West Zhetybai oilfield is from well J-58.
