Future Generation Investment Company Limited is engaged in investing in funds managed by various Australian equity fund managers. The Company invests in unlisted unit trusts and cash and/or cash equivalents. The Company's investment objectives are to provide franked dividends, to achieve capital growth, and preserve shareholder capital. By investing through the initial fund managers, its initial portfolio will consists of investments in funds that have a focus on long only, long/short and alternative investment strategies. Once fully invested, the Company will provide investors with diversified exposure to selected Australian fund managers, investment styles and strategies. It invests its capital with fund managers that have agreed to provide their services. The pro bono support of these fund managers, as well as the pro bono support of various service providers allows the Company to donate 1% of its average monthly net tangible assets each year to Australian charities.
