Folkestone Education Trust (ASX:FET), formerly Australian Education Trust, is a real estate investment trust (REIT). The objectives of the Trust are to provide secure long-term cash-flows with minimal risk and the potential for capital growth to its investors; to provide access to sector specific real estate investment that invests in early learning property; to provide a stable, growing income stream supported by secure lease covenants; to provide geographical diversification through asset selection, and to provide an attractive income yield with growing underlying property values. The Trust operates in the Asia Pacific geographic segment. The Trust owns approximately 390 early learning properties in its portfolio, a medical center and a portfolio of property securities. Its tenants include Goodstart Early Learning Limited, BestStart Educare Limited and G8 Education Limited. Folkestone Investment Management Limited is the Responsible Entity of the Trust.
