AustChina Holdings Limited, formerly Coalbank Limited, is engaged in the exploration for mineral resources. The Company operates through the segment of exploration of coal, oil and gas. It invests in early-stage coal and oil and gas exploration projects. Its western Surat and Eromanga Basins tenements cover an area in the Tambo and Blackall region in Queensland. Its Blackall Project is located approximately 130 kilometers south-west of the Alpha area coal projects. Within the Western Surat Basin, it holds coal exploration permits (EPCs) 1414, 1415, 1417, 1418, 1623, 1625, 1632 and 1786. Its ATP 1072, ATP 1095 and 1098 are located in southeast Queensland, Australia. EPC1993 and EPC1719 are located in the north-western corner of the Blackall Coal Project near the township of Blackall. Its Inverness Deposit is located in the western part of EPC1993. The permits are under-explored and prospective for coal seam gas (CSG) and various conventional oil and gas play types.
