The Company has a joint venture agreement with the German battery institute Fraunhofer IKTS (IKTS) to commercialize the CERENERGY Sodium Chloride Solid State (SCSS) Battery. Its segments include Silumina Anodes, CERENERGY, High Purity Alumina (HPA), and Corporate. The Silumina Anodes project involves coating silicon with a nanometre layer of high-purity alumina, for inclusion in lithium battery anodes to increase lithium battery capacity. CERENERGY batteries are the game-changing alternative to lithium-ion batteries.
