Tivan Signs Three MoUs to Advance Molyhil Project

Tivan Limited (ASX: TVN) on 24 June 2026 announced Key Terms Memorandums of Understanding with Sumitomo Corporation and ETFS Capital, and a separate MoU with Aboriginal Investment NT to progress the Molyhil Tungsten Project by way of an incorporated joint venture and local partnership.

The Sumitomo and ETFSC MoUs together establish a framework for up to $50 million of staged, conditional investment with Sumitomo being able to invest up to $25 million for an effective up to 8.75% interest in the project vehicle and potential offtake for up to 100% of life of mine production and ETFSC being able to invest up to $25 million for a similar effective interest via MNT Holdings.

Tivan will retain an effective 82.5% interest at final investment decision under the proposed funding and shareholder loan structures, and will act as project manager with defined management fees. Long form binding agreements and regulatory approvals are targeted by Q3 2026 with the Offtake Agreement to be finalised alongside the DFS process.

Separately, the MoU with Aboriginal Investment NT creates a pathway to evaluate direct investment and embed Aboriginal procurement, employment, training and contracting opportunities as the project advances, building on Tivan’s prior Central Land Council agreements and community initiatives in Central Australia.

The company reiterated the Molyhil Project hosts a JORC resource of 4.647 million tonnes at 0.26% WO3 (12,100 tonnes WO3) and that a Pre‑Feasibility Study is underway for completion in Q4 2026 ahead of a DFS and FID.
