Terra Critical Minerals Limited (ASX: T92) has announced on 18 June 2026 that historical sampling at its newly granted Tamworth Tin Project in New South Wales confirmed high grade tin and indium mineralisation at the Giantβs Den prospect.
The company noted that past rock chip results included 2.9% tin, 0.71% tin and 106 g/t indium, and 0.39% tin and 101 g/t indium highlighting a tin-indium association with exposure to two critical minerals.
Terra added that the project also includes the historically productive Watsons Creek alluvial tin field where about 1,600 tonnes of tin was previously produced while extensive terrace deposits remain largely untested by modern exploration.
Chairman Andrew Vigar said the asset strengthens Terraβs New England critical minerals portfolio and offers multiple exploration and development avenues through its hard rock tin, indium values and alluvial potential.
The company is now reviewing historical datasets with further work to include literature review, LiDAR or open file geophysics, remote sensing and access approvals before building a full exploration program.
The market may treat this as an early stage exploration update rather than a drill driven catalyst with investors now looking for Terra to turn the historical grades into a defined modern target.
