Pro Medicus Limited (ASX: PME) has announced a 5 year, $16 million contract renewal with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. This will extend a key U.S. client relationship and add new workflow and cardiology imaging modules. The deal was negotiated with higher minimums and a larger fee per transaction, reinforcing the company’s transaction-based growth model.
The renewal which is signed through wholly owned U.S. subsidiary Visage Imaging, Inc. expands the existing deployment to include Visage 7 Workflow and Visage 7 Cardiology Imaging at the Columbus based academic medical center. OSUWMC is a major healthcare network with about 22,000 staff, 2,000 physicians and more than 1,400 inpatient beds across six hospitals.
Pro Medicus noted the contract reflects customer demand for its native capabilities as hospitals look to retire legacy systems and scale their enterprise imaging platforms. Management also said that the agreement lifts total renewals for the financial year to $141 million which underscores strong client retention and recurring revenue visibility.
The deal adds further momentum to PME’s broader Visage 7 platform rollout with the company positioning its software as a scalable solution across cloud environments and advanced imaging use cases.
For investors, the renewal supports the case for durable cash flows and continued expansion in the U.S. healthcare imaging market.
