EIQ is an early stage, high potential tech healthcare ASX stock with massive commercialisation in the US and massive R&D development. It has best in class pipeline and represents a significant step to extend the EchoSolv platform across cardiovascular care and into new areas of clinical need.

Echo IQ Limited (ASX: EIQ)

One of the top tech healthcare ASX stocks with a market capitalisation of $359.32M.

FDA application update

EIQ had announced on 8 September 2026 an FDA application update on EchoSolv HF. The US Food and Drug Administration (‘FDA’) has issued a Not Substantially Equivalent (‘NSE’) determination for the Company’s initial EchoSolv HF 510(k) application.

Upon receiving the FDA’s determination, Echo IQ management, together with its US regulatory and legal advisors, its study partners and independent statistical experts, has started to do a detailed review of the regulatory matters raised.

EIQ believes that there is a pathway forward to clear its EchoSolv HF under the 510(k) route and intends to engage with the FDA to further clarify the matters identified in the determination and assess all administrative and regulatory options available to Echo IQ. This process will inform the most appropriate and efficient pathway to progress EchoSolv HF towards US regulatory clearance.

Echo IQ is quite confident in the clinical rationale of EchoSolv HF and the significant unmet clinical need in the identification of patients with heart failure. EIQ intends to continue to progress the EchoSolv HF regulatory programme while maintaining its broader US commercial strategy.

This determination does not impact the earlier FDA cleared EchoSolv AS platform or its ongoing commercialisation in the US. EIQ will continue to advance its US commercial infrastructure, reimbursement pathway, customer pipeline and strategic relationships, providing a platform to support the future commercialisation of EchoSolv HF, subject to obtaining required regulatory clearance.

FY26 Results

EIQ had announced on 28 August 2026 its FY26 results for the period ended at June 2026. EIQ has increased its commercial use of its EchoSolv AS technology by expanding its US hospital pipeline, deploying the platform within Mount Sinai Health System and establishing a dedicated multi region US sales and implementation team. Echo IQ also developed new enterprise deployment programmes designed to reduce adoption barriers and accelerate procurement by large health systems.

EIQ is also progressing its strategy to develop EchoSolv as a multi-condition cardiovascular AI platform. This strategy included advancing additional indications, expanding its intellectual property (IP) portfolio and entering into a research collaboration with Mayo Clinic to assess cardiac risk in patients receiving cancer therapy.

Echo IQ also culminated in a binding Heads of Agreement with Pro Medicus Limited (ASX: PME) for a proposed strategic investment of up to $20M and a potential US commercial reseller partnership.

Financially, EIQ reported a revenue of $91.6k, with a net loss of $18.5M due to massive US expansion, clinical trials, FDA approval and other costs like product development and commercial infrastructure. They have reported a net tangible asset per ordinary security of 1.13 cents per share. Echo IQ has completed an institutional placement of $110M and reported a cash balance of $8.7M.

Outlook

EIQ holds a quite optimistic outlook with continuous progression in the US commercial pipeline to convert it into a contracted enterprise deployment. They are also expected to continue with the definitive documentation and implementation of the proposed strategic partnership with Pro Medicus. EIQ has three enterprise proposals representing 300+ US hospitals. They expect to do more advanced cardiovascular indications, including pulmonary hypertension, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, mitral regurgitation and cardio-oncology.
