ASX stocks near 52 Week low : XRO, HDN & IPX

Team Veye   October 08, 2026

The following three ASX stocks are trading close to their 52-week lows and hence their underlying fundamentals along with growth prospects determine whether current levels are inciting Insiders to buy the dip?

Xero Limited (ASX: XRO) had a solid FY26 as operating revenue rose 31% to NZ$2.75 billion while adjusted EBITDA increased 18% to NZ$757 million and free cash flow reached NZ$554 million.

The company by the end of FY26 had 4.92 million customers which grew 11% year-on-year while average revenue per customer rose 23% to NZ$55.44.

Xero’s growth outlook has also gained support from recent developments such as rapid growth in its payments business and the rollout of AI features. More than 500,000 customers were using its new GenAI features by March 2026.

Xero expects operating revenue of NZ$3.62 billion to NZ$3.73 billion and adjusted EBITDA of NZ$860 million to NZ$920 million for FY27 while it plans to invest up to NZ$55 million in additional US brand spending to accelerate its presence in the market.

Melio is also expected to reach adjusted EBITDA breakeven on a run-rate basis in H2 FY28 while the combined Xero-Melio business targets more than double Xero’s FY25 group revenue by FY28.

The stock price is now 62% below its level 12 months ago and this sharp correction could offer a good opportunity for investors to accumulate Xero at current levels especially for those with a long-term view.

HomeCo Daily Needs REIT (ASX: HDN) had a resilient FY26 as funds from operations rose 2.3% to 9.0 cents per unit while distributions increased 1.2% to 8.6 cents per unit and net tangible assets rose 9 cents to $1.56 per unit.

The REIT’s $5.2 billion portfolio remained highly defensive because comparable NOI grew 4.0% while leasing spreads reached 5.9% and occupancy stood at 99%.

Its financial position also improved as the unsecured debt facility increased to $2.15 billion which lifted liquidity to $288 million while gearing remained at 35.7% and the weighted average debt tenor rose to 3.1 years.

Comparable property NOI growth is expected to be around 4.0% in FY27 while FFO is guided at 8.8 cents per unit and distributions remain at 8.6 cents per unit which is supported by contracted rent growth and high occupancy as well as the defensive nature of the portfolio.

The security price is now close to its 52-week low and with an annual unfranked dividend yield of 7.93% and a trailing price-to-book ratio of just 0.70, the REIT could offer an attractive opportunity for investors although a full recovery in the stock will probably require a more favourable reversal in the interest-rate environment.

IperionX Limited (ASX: IPX) reported a US$66.8 million net loss in FY2026 while cash and cash equivalents stood at US$35.2 million and net outflows from operating and investing activities reached US$63.5 million.

Recent developments have improved the investment case which includes the US$3.0 million Atlas acquisition and a second U.S. Army task order that takes potential SBIR Phase III task orders to US$26.7 million.

Government support also is significant because US$59.8 million of fully obligated funding has been secured across key programs. The company aims to produce approximately 200 tonnes of titanium powder per annum by the end of calendar 2026.

The company has set a target of more than 10,000 tonnes per annum of high-performance titanium components by 2030 while the Titan Critical Minerals Project has an estimated after-tax NPV of US$813 million and an IRR of 39.4% with after-tax free cash flow of US$1.9 billion over the initial 14-year plan.

The stock price is close to its 52-week low and the company may offer significant upside for investors who believe in its technology as well as its U.S. defence and critical-minerals strategy but continued cash burn along with funding needs mean risk-averse investors should probably avoid the stock.
