Ausgold Ltd (ASX: AUC

is advancing its Katanning gold project which is positioning it as Australia’s next major gold mine. A solid resource of 1.25 ml at 1.11 g/t and a life-of-mine production of 1.14 ml with 90.4% recovery have been highlighted in the conclusive feasibility study. Through the help of a competitive AISC of A$2,180/oz and a CapEx of A$355m, initial production is projected to produce 140.2koz p.a. over the first four years. Given a post-tax NPV of A$954m and an IRR of 53% at A$4,300/oz gold, the economic returns are solid. In the Australian gold sector, Katanning is an attractive development and investment opportunity because aggressive exploration continues to extend the mine life and high-grade zones boost initial value.

Rox Resources Ltd (ASX: RXL

focuses on its flagship Youanmi Gold Project in Western Australia’s renowned Youanmi Greenstone Belt. The project's considerable potential has been demonstrated by its strong production history of 667koz at 5.42g/t and the existence of significant gold deposits all around it. Rox Resources  Youanmi Project is moving forward according to solid DFS indications. The 2025 MRE reflects higher grades and ounces, showing 12.1Mt at 5.6g/t Au for 2,170koz. Given long-life potential and confirmed recoveries of 90–92%, production is expected to surpass 100 koz annually. Strong cash flows and high margins are ensured by the low AISC of A$1,676/oz. Youanmi stands out as an asset in Australia's top gold province because of to its attractive NPV and IRR metrics, as well as an opportunity for growth from rising gold prices, effective plant design, and high-grade underground mining.

Tribune Resources Ltd (ASX:TBR

is still making significant progress in exploration and operations at the East Kundana Joint Venture (EKJV). In the June 2025 quarter, 75,407 tonnes of Rand and Tribune ore were processed at a 95.5% recovery rate, producing 8,916 ounces of gold, of which 6,687 ounces were Tribune's share. High-grade gold zones have been identified and expanded by exploration drilling across Sadler, Hornet, and Ambition, improving resource model confidence. While Ambition confirmed a high-grade, southward-plunging zone, Sadler's underground veins and Hornet's open-pit mineralisation remain clearly defined. Future drilling is made achievable by preparatory work in Ghana, and Tribune's methodical strategy puts the company in a position to grow its output effectively and create long-term value.

Kingsgate Consolidated Ltd (ASX:KCN

is ramping up operations at the Chatree Gold Mine in Thailand, a world-class, open-pit, low-grade gold-silver deposit with 1.24 Moz of reserves. Supported by a new Caterpillar fleet and a knowledgeable local workforce, refurbished CIL plants run above capacity, resulting in higher output and long-term operational stability. The Chatree Gold Mine in Kingsgate generated 74,661 ounces of gold and 625,698 ounces of silver in FY25, establishing a record weekly pour of more than 2,700 ounces. AISC margins increased to US$1,240 per ounce in 4QFY25 from US$331 in 1Q, showing an important increase in operational efficiency. Financial stability and growth potential were supported by robust cash generation, which saw total cash and bullion rise 258% to US$55 million.

Peregrine Gold Limited (ASX: PGD

has released its preliminary results from its recent Air-core (AC) drilling at the Tin Can Prospect, part of its 100% owned Newman Project in north-west Western Australia.  In order to identify possible high-grade gold shoots for future Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling, the AC program has successfully defined a broad gold anomalism zone in bedrock that is up to 850 meters in strike and 240 meters in cumulative width. A drone magnetic survey will be conducted to improve resolution after preliminary interpretations point to several sub-parallel, shallow-dipping gold zones that are in line with magnetic trends. More than 600 anomalous samples are currently being analyzed by Peregrine in order to improve geological models and concentrate follow-up drilling on higher-grade mineralisation.
