Solara Minerals Limited (ASX: SLA) reported high-grade gold and silver results from rock chip samples at its Myrnas Hill project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region on 9 October 2026.
The best result came from sample SLMH002 which contained 7.05 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold and 3.28 g/t of silver.
SLMH007 had returned 1.85 g/t of gold and 1.08 g/t of silver at a location about 370 metres east of the prospect. The company identified a quartz vein system that stretches more than 400 metres from east to west.
The eastern section near SLMH007 has not yet been drilled along the same trend which leaves potential for further exploration.
Historical drilling also showed gold mineralisation including 3 metres at 1.51 g/t gold from 19 metres in hole FWM08 with a 1-metre section grading 2.93 g/t. Earlier drilling also returned 12 metres at 0.33 g/t gold in hole FWM31 while another hole located 40 metres west of Solara’s tenement boundary recorded 4 metres at 1.02 g/t gold.
These results indicate that the area may contain a larger mineralised system with gold, copper and silver but further exploration and drilling will be necessary to determine its size, grade and continuity before the commercial potential can be assessed.
