Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Company Limited (ASX: SOL)

SOL had announced on 18 June 2026, stating that they have entered into a binding agreement with Godman Australia Industrial Partnership (GAIP) for the sale of Brickworksβ investments in the industrial JV Trust assets. The transaction is agreed upon at a sale price of $1.89B, which is in line with the property values at the time of the combination of Brickworks and Saul Parts.
Earlier on 26 March 2026, SOL announced its half-yearly result for the period ended in January 2026. Net Asset Value (pre-tax) increased by 14.6% YoY to $13.8B, and net cash flow from investment is up by 15.4% to $334M. SOL announced a fully franked interim dividend of 48 cents per share (+9.1% YoY).
SOL management stated that their balance sheet remains strong, and they have ample liquidity to increase capacity to act on new investment opportunities with a constant focus on risk management, cash generation and diversification.
BHP Group Limited (ASX: BHP)Β
Is one of the leading material companies with a market capitalisation of $320.48B and a fully franked dividend yield of 3.10%.
BHP had announced on 16 July 2026 its quarterly activities report for the quarter ending in June 2026. Total copper production stood at 1,953 kt (up 3% QoQ), iron ore production increased by 1% YoY to a record 265 Mt, steelmaking coal production increased by 3% to 18.6 Mt, and energy coal increased by 9% YoY to 16.4 Mt.
BHP's financial performance was supported by commodity prices, as the copper price increased by 35% YoY, the iron ore price up by 3%, the steelmaking coal price raised by 8% and energy coal by 3%, helping BHP to deliver strong operating cash flow.
BHP has reported a capital and exploration expenditure of US$5B, alongside an exploration spend of US$408M. BHP has received US$4.3B from the Antamina silver streaming transaction and ~US$700M for asset sales. BHP has a net debt of US$9B.
Medibank Private Limited (ASX: MPL)
Is one of the top financial companies with a market capitalisation of $14.05B and a fully franked dividend yield of 3.63%.
MPL had announced on 5 May 2026 its business update and customer insights. MPL continues the same growth momentum in its residential business policyholder with a 22.4k increase in 9 months, a 1.1% YTD and 25% higher than the same period in FY25.
Medibankβs 3Q26 claims are consistent with recent industry trends, albeit with ongoing benefits from a proactive approach to claims management. In the 9 months up to 31 March 2026, MPL has received $39.3M under partnership initiatives (including variable indexation, milestone, and initiative support payments). MPL is announced to deliver its FY26 results for the period ending on June 2026 on 20 August 2026.
