Top Gainers Today: BlinkLab, Clean TeQ Water & Carnegie Clean Energy Post Key Milestones

Team Veye   August 18, 2026

The three companies shared progress across healthcare, water treatment and wave energy with key developments in technology, commercial projects, regulatory milestones, funding and future growth opportunities.

BlinkLab Limited (ASX:BB1)

On 5 August 2026, announced results from its European ADHD case-control study involving children aged 6 through 17 years. The study achieved 82% sensitivity and 83% specificity against its clinical diagnostic reference standard. The cohort represents one of the largest case-control datasets reported for ADHD assessment tools.

The findings will guide development of BlinkLab Dx2, an AI model intended to detect ADHD alongside autism through smartphone tracking of digital neurobehavioural biomarkers. The European multicentre study, completed with Mental Care Group (MCG), cost BlinkLab nothing. BlinkLab retains the study data and intellectual property generated through the collaboration.

BB1 plans to prepare for a U.S. pilot study with leading ADHD clinical centres, followed by a prospective FDA registrational study, subject to regulatory engagement and successful pilot completion. It also plans to examine adult ADHD diagnosis, symptom progression, response to pharmaceutical treatment, and potential use in ADHD therapeutic development. Europe under EU MDR remains another opportunity.

Clean TeQ Water Limited (ASX: CNQ)

On 28 July 2026, announced completion of commissioning and contractual testing of its first full scale commercial PHOSPHIX plant in Europe with Enva in Ireland. Treated water recorded phosphate below 0.1 mg/L, over ten times better than the 1.0 mg/L requirement. The plant also exceeded hydraulic capacity, achieved other water quality specifications and operates at 99% recovery without liquid brine.

On 27 July 2026, the Q4 FY26 report showed customer receipts of $6.4m, up 45%, positive operating cash flow of $1.75m and cash of $8.7m. The quarter included the Rasp Mine ATA contract, PHOSPHIX validation, Nyrstar DESALX execution progress and Sunrise engineering revisions. Rio Tinto Rincon manufacturing and Heathgate CLEAN-IX operations also progressed.

For FY27, Clean TeQ Water plans to deliver contracted projects, convert technology references into repeat revenue and progress ATA, PHOSPHIX, DESALX, lithium, uranium, scandium and rare-earth opportunities. CNQ will continue digitalisation, including AI-assisted process optimisation.

Carnegie Clean Energy Limited (ASX: CCE)

On 29 July 2026, reported progress in the ACHIEVE Programme. The CETO Unit moved into Power Take-Off assembly after electrical module completion and control validation. Spanish approvals allow seabed occupation and grid connection, while a €64k (~A$103k) EuropeWave milestone payment was received. Ocean deployment at BiMEP in Bilbao is targeted for October 2026.

During the June quarter, PTO assembly and integration continued at SKF in Germany with generators, tensioners, shafts, couplings, bearings, seals and sensors being connected. System testing will check communication and control before deployment. The team also completed specialised ROV training to reduce subsea operating risks. Offshore work will include foundations, moorings and export cable connection.

CCE also received US TEAMER technical support valued at US$194k (A$270k) with Kelson Marine Co. for offshore aquaculture applications. The company continued work across aquaculture, defence, data centres and marine markets. Subsequent to quarter end, a $2.5m private placement was secured for CETO array development and commercial expansion.
