Mastermyne Group Limited (ASX: MYE)

Mastermyne Group Limited (ASX: MYE) is one of the top-performing material stocks on the ASX, currently trading at a 52-week high with a market capitalisation of $146.61M.

MYE has announced, on 5 August 2026, that the company has received a new Dendrobium mining services contract worth approximately $255M. The execution of this contract with GM3 for its Dendrobium underground coal mine in New South Wales.

The contract is for an initial term of 2 years with two x 2-year extension options, with work scheduled to commence in September 2026.

The company is estimated to generate a gross revenue of $85M, and if the extension is exercised by GM3 The company can generate an estimated gross revenue of $255M over the period of 6 years.

This contract also involves more than 140 new roles, expanding Mastermyne’s existing scope of services at Dendrobium, which currently comprises strata consolidation and project work. FPR has announced that on 3 August 2026, the company received an acquisition offer from SG Fleet Topco Limited to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares in FleetPartners through a scheme of arrangement at the indicative price of $3.60 per share of FleetPartners.

The proposed acquisition is subject to a number of conditions, including satisfactory completion of due diligence, certain financial and operational assumptions being true, entry into a scheme implementation agreement on satisfactory terms, regulatory approval and other customary conditions.

The company had announced on 29 July 2026 its quarterly activities update for the second quarter of FY26. The company continued to execute its clinical pipeline, with the PKD programme advancing into Phase 1b Part C of the Multiple Ascending Dose (MAD) study in PKD patients following the approval from SRC governing these clinical trials to initiate repeat dosing of the drug candidate. SRC has already approved escalating dosing in the MAD study to the higher dose cohort (2.4 mg/kg) and OTE of the ongoing MAD study to enable continuous dosing of the drug candidate for a period of up to 24 months.

Its ophthalmology programmes have received the grant of Orphan Drug Designation for the RP11 drug candidate by the European Medicine Agency. Furthermore, PYC received grants for covering all three clinical-stage RNA therapies.

The company has reported a cash balance of $669.6M to support ongoing development. This result highlights the company's ability to execute its clinical pipeline in the future, making it a long-term prospect.
