Top ASX Income stocks to watch for Dividend investors

These three ASX listed companies offer investors exposure to regular dividend income, supported by their business performance, cash generation and ongoing operational developments across banking, infrastructure, and resources sectors.

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX: CBA)

On 13 May 2026, released its 3Q26 Trading Update. It remains focused on helping customers during higher living costs, rising energy prices and interest rates. CBA also noted that conflict in the Middle East is disrupting supply chains and creating uncertainty. Its capital, liquidity, deposit funding and overall balance sheet remain strong.

CBA reported unaudited statutory NPAT of about A$2.6 billion and cash NPAT of about A$2.7b. The operating income stayed stable during the quarter. The operating performance improved compared with both the previous quarter and the same period last year.

Loan impairment expense was A$316 million after increasing collective provisions because of higher economic and geopolitical risks. Deposit funding represented 79% of total funding, A$32 billion in long-term wholesale funding was raised, and the CET1 ratio remained at 11.6%.

Home lending, household deposits and business banking continued to grow. Retail transaction accounts improved by more than 170,000, business transaction accounts reached 1.4M and A$3.9 billion in dividends was paid during the quarter.

APA Group (ASX: APA)

Will release its financial results for the fiscal year ending 30 June 2026, on 20 August 2026. The current dividend yield per annum is 5.69%.Β Β 

On 19 June 2026, APA announced an estimated final distribution of 30.5 cents per security. Together with the interim distribution of 27.5 cents, total FY26 distributions are expected to be 58.0 cents per security. The final distribution will be confirmed with the FY26 results with payment scheduled for 16 September 2026.

On 25 March 2026, APA completed the sale of its 20% stake in GDI for $62 million. The investment contributed less than 1% of FY25 Underlying EBITDA and APA will continue providing corporate services for up to three years.

On 19 February 2026, APA authorized spending of $260 million on Stage 3A and $220M on Stage 3B early works. This project will increase pipeline capacity to provide gas for southern markets starting from 2028.

New Hope Corporation Ltd (ASX: NHC)

Issued the Quarter Activities Report for 30 April 2026 on 18 May 2026. Group ROM coal production went up to 4.3Mt, while coal sales recorded 3.2Mt with average realised sales prices of A$140.7/t. The underlying EBITDA came to $130.1 million and cash balance was $571.6 million. The company also issued $300 million convertible notes due 2032 and repurchased $293.3 million notes due 2029. No dividend announcement was made.

Bengalla Mine produced 2.6Mt ROM coal, with saleable production at 2.1Mt and sales of 2.2Mt. FOB cash cost improved to $74.0 per sales tonne.

The New Acland Mine recorded 1.6Mt ROM coal production and 1.0Mt coal sales, while public road works continued with expected capital cost of $65 million to $75 million.

Malabar achieved first longwall coal, commissioned key infrastructure and sold premium coal to Japan. Coal markets improved with higher demand from Asian buyers.
