Amcor’s latest quarterly earnings lifted its stock price as the newly combined Amcor–Berry business proved its strength on the global stage.

Amcor Plc (ASX: AMC

is currently in growth phase following the all-stock acquisition of Berry Global in April 2025 which has transformed the company into a global leader in consumer packaging and dispensing solutions.
The merger with Berry Global brings together expertise in material science and sustainability which will strengthen Amcor’s ability to develop eco-friendly packaging solutions.

This strategic merger has significantly expanded Amcor’s product reach and innovation capabilities giving it the strength to deliver greater value to both customers and shareholders.
In its first full quarter operating as a combined business Amcor reported net sales of US$5.74 billion which is a growth of 68% on a constant currency basis while adjusted EBITDA jumped 92% to US$909 million.

Net income increased 88% to US$448 million and adjusted earnings per share stood at 19.3 cents representing 18 % growth from the prior year.
Amcor realised about US$38 million in synergies during the first quarter with approximately US$33 million contributing to operating profit and the company expects to generate at least US$260 million in pre-tax synergy benefits in FY26 and a total of US$650 million by FY28.
For FY26, Amcor is expecting adjusted EPS between 80 and 83 cents representing growth of 12 -17 % and Free Cash Flow  of US$1.8-1.9 billion.

Amcor has also increased its quarterly dividend to 13 cents per share reflecting the board’s confidence and Capital expenditure is planned between US$850 and US$900 million for FY26.
Early adoption of Amcor’s new expanded solutions validates its position as a trusted partner for global brands who want sustainable packaging.

Amcor is in a good position for consistent long-term value creation and do well in its role as the global packaging partner for some of the world’s biggest brands.
