From Data Centres to AI Chips: 5 ASX Tech Stocks Backed By New Contracts and Growth
These five ASX companies are gaining attention through AI, data centres, healthcare technology, logistics and chip development with recent contracts, investments, partnerships and product progress supporting their growth.
NEXTDC Limited (ASX: NXT)
On 21 July 2026, announced contracted utilization rose 73MW (11%) to 740MW as at 30 June 2026. Forward order book reached 565MW. FY26 Net Revenue, Underlying EBITDA and capex guidance remained unchanged.
On 10 July 2026, senior debt facilities increased by A$0.5 billion to A$2.3 billion. Total available senior debt facilities will rise from A$6.4 billion to A$8.7 billion upon financial close.
On 7 May 2026, NEXTDC completed the A$1.7 billion Hybrid Securities Offer. A$1.0 billion Initial Series and A$0.7 billion Delayed Draw Series were included. Estimated pro-forma 30 June 2026 liquidity increased to approximately A$8.4 billion.
Megaport Limited (ASX: MP1)
Secured four AI infrastructure contracts worth A$458.9M on 3 June 2026. It plans A$369.5M capex and a A$350M GPU Pool. The entitlement offer will raise A$827.3M. FY26 revenue guidance is A$307M-A$315M.
On 27 April 2026, Latitude.sh secured a 36-month compute and storage contract worth US$25.1M (A$35.4M), generating US$8.4M (A$11.8M) ARR.
On 14 May 2026, Latitude.sh secured three contracts worth A$254M TCV and A$90.6M ARR, with 24- and 36-month terms.
Pro Medicus Limited (ASX: PME)
On 12 August 2026, signed a 7-year, A$23M contract with St. Lukeβs Health System across three states. Visage 7 Viewer and Workflow will be cloud based with go-live targeted for Q1 2027.
On 25 June 2026, Pro Medicus entered a binding Heads of Agreement with Echo IQ for financing and a reseller arrangement. PME investment includes A$10M initially with a further A$10M option after FDA clearance.
FY26 results will be released on 18 August 2026.
WiseTech Global Limited (ASX: WTC)
On 22 July 2026, agreed to acquire FRDM.ai for $10 million upfront in cash and shares. Maximum all-cash earn-outs are $14.31 million, with completion expected on 3 August 2026.
FRDM.aiβs technology maps supplier networks, monitors risks and compliance, and will combine with BorderWise, Denied Party Screening and Global Knowledge to create VerifyWise.
Revenue growth was 76% and EBITDA growth stood at 31% in FY26 for 1H26. CargoWise NCM reached 95% of customers, while AI agents supported product development and internal efficiency.
BrainChip Holdings Limited (ASX: BRN)
On 27 July 2026, attained an ending cash of $20.3M and obtained their first 2,000 AKD1500 production chips. Commercial shipments are expected in the second half of 2026.
During the quarter, RTL assets were delivered to EDGEAI under the Akida 2.0 licensing agreement. More than 2,000 AKD1500 devices will support M.2, PCIe, Raspberry Pi and reference platforms.
BrainChip continued AKD2500 development, remaining on schedule for an early December tapeout. The company entered the second half of 2026 focused on customer adoption, licensing, silicon sales and royalties.
