WTC announced on 22 July 2026 that they have entered into a binding agreement to acquire FRDM.ai, which is an AI platform for supply chain risk and compliance intelligence. The acquisition agreement includes upfront consideration of US$10M in cash and WTC shares. The maximum payable under all-cash earn-outs is $14.31M and is expected to be completed on 3 August 2026, subject to customary conditions precedent.
This acquisition is considered highly accretive and is expected to add substantial value to WTC business by combining FRDM.ai with WiseTechβs deep data sets and skills in logistics, international borders, trade compliance, and a substantial customer base. This integration helps VertifyWise by enhancing supply chain visibility and expanding compliance offerings, making WTC a comprehensive and data-driven platform.
NEXTDC Limited (ASX: NXT)
NEXTDC Limited (ASX: NXT) is one of the fastest-growing tech companies on the ASX, which operates in developing and operating independent data centers in Australia and the APAC region. The companyβs current market capitalization is $10.06B.
NXT announced on 21 July 2026 that the company has won additional customer contracts. NXTβs pro forma contracted utilization as of 30 June 2026 has increased by 11% to 740 MW since the last update on 20 April 2026. As a result of these customer contract wins, NXT's pro forma forward order book has increased to 565 MW, highlighting strong demand.
The company stated that they will progressively convert their pro forma forward order book into billings, revenue, and EBITDA over the period of FY26-30. The company also highlights in the announcement that their guidance for FY26 net revenue, underlying EBITDA, and capex remains unchanged, supported by strong demand and continued execution.
NXT announced on 10 July 2026 that the company has entered into binding documentation for new senior debt facilities of $2.3B, an increase of $0.5B in the existing debt facilities of $1.8B. These funds will be utilized in funding capital expenditures to build required data center capacity, supporting ongoing business and general corporate purposes.
Megaport Limited (ASX: MP1)
Megaport Limited (ASX: MP1) is one of the fastest-growing tech companies on the ASX, as it is a global automated infrastructure platform with a market capitalization of $4.11B.
Megaport announced on 11 June 2026 that they are conducting a fully underwritten accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer to raise approximately $827M; this includes $518M from the institutional entitlement offer and $309M from the retail entitlement offer. The company also added that the existing shareholders can buy 1 new share for every 3.08 shares held for an offer price of $14.30 per share.
The company will utilize these funds in AI infrastructure expansion backed by signed customer contracts. This will allow the company to generate higher revenue, strong utilization, and improved earnings. This offer has received a strong positive from institutional participation, highlighting confidence among them in the companyβs AI strategy.
