Diversified ETFs offer investors an easy way to build a defensive portfolio because one investment can provide exposure to thousands of companies and that is what Betashares has brought to investors through their new ETFS.

Betashares Diversified High Growth ETF (ASX: DVHG)

A solid ETF for capital growth with an allocation of 90% to growth assets and 10% to defensive assets across Australian and global equities as well as investment-grade bonds. Such an allocation is suited for investors who have a relatively higher risk appetite.

DVHG has a management fee of just 0.19% per year which made it a relatively efficient option for investors who want diversified growth exposure.

The fund has broad diversification because it will give exposure to about 2,500 equities and 12,000 bonds across multiple markets and sectors.

The ETF will distribute income on a quarterly basis and started on 4 August 2026 so it does not yet have a meaningful performance history while its global diversification and exposure to thousands of securities does make it an interesting option for investors who want a simple diversified portfolio.

Betashares Diversified Growth ETF (ASX: DVGR)

A diversified ETF which is a perfect fit for investors who aim for capital growth for a long time and it has allocated 75% to growth assets and 25% to defensive assets.

Its growth assets include Australian equities as well as developed market and emerging market equities while the defensive assets include Australian and global investment-grade bonds and provide exposure to around 2,500 equities and 12,000 bonds.

The ETF has a management fee of 0.19% per year which Betashares has said ais the lowest fee among diversified ETFs currently available in Australia. It will pay distributions on a quarterly basis.

Betashares launched DVGR on 4 August 2026 for investors with a high tolerance for risk and it will review the underlying exposures regularly while the target asset allocation may be adjusted each year.

DVGR is newly launched and has no meaningful performance history yet it does provide a simple way to build a globally diversified growth portfolio through one trade with broad diversification.

Betashares Diversified Balanced ETF (ASX: DVBA)

Can help investors strike a balance between capital growth and stability with 60% in growth assets and 40% in defensive assets.

Its growth assets include Australian and international equities across developed and emerging markets as well as global listed infrastructure while defensive assets include Australian and global investment-grade bonds and cash.

DVBA through a single ASX trade will provide exposure to about 2,500 companies and 12,000 bonds across various markets and sectors which will give investors broad diversification within one portfolio.

The ETF has a management fee of 0.19% per year and made quarterly distributions while its underlying portfolio had a 3.1% franked yield as of 4 August 2026 which makes DVBA a simple option for investors who want both growth potential and a defensive component in their portfolio.
