Best Penny Stocks on the ASX Under $1: 3 Stocks to Watch
These three ASX-listed companies trade below A$1 and are showing growth through new projects, technology, production, partnerships and upcoming commercial opportunities.
BrainChip Holdings Limited (ASX: BRN)
On 27 July 2026, reported a June-quarter cash balance of A$20.3 million, receipt of 2,000 production AKD1500 chips, and the expiry of its LDA Capital Put Option Agreement.
During the quarter, commercial efforts advanced through customer work, partnerships, reference platforms and licensing. The company delivered RTL design assets to EDGEAI under its Akida 2.0 licence. Around 60,000 AKD1500 units are planned with deliveries continuing through Q3 2026; the quantity is lower than expected because of production yields.
On 24 July 2026, BrainChip announced the LDA facility had expired on 30 June. LDA sold about 6.96 million shares for A$1.0 million to settle the Failure Fee. About 6.0 million collateral shares remained for disposal, with proceeds due after fees.
More than 2,000 AKD1500 chips are planned for hardware platforms including M.2, PCIe and Raspberry Pi boards. AKD2500 remains on schedule for early December tapeout. GenAI demonstrations are expected later in Q3 2026, alongside four defence-focused AI models and continued software development.
European Lithium Limited (ASX: EUR)
On 31 July 2026, reported a binding Scheme Implementation Deed with Critical Metals Corp. for CRML to acquire all EUR shares through a court-approved scheme, in exchange for CRML shares. EUR held A$296.3 million cash at 30 June 2026.
The same quarterly report said Greenlandβs Government approved transferring the remaining 50.5% Tanbreez interest to CRML, taking its ownership to 92.5%. CRML also started building a storage, laboratory and pilot plant facility in Qaqortoq.
CRML launched a US$30 million Project Acceleration Plan covering drilling, pilot-plant bulk sampling and the purchase of Greenlandic civils, construction and mining contractor 60 Degree North A/S.
On 19 August 2026, EUR announced revised merger terms. The previous fixed 0.035 CRML shares per EUR share was replaced by a floating ratio between 0.025 and 0.045, based on CRMLβs 20-day VWAP, with US$8 and US$16 floor and ceiling prices. At the announcement date, 0.045 applied. EUR expected the Scheme Booklet in early September and implementation in October 2026.
Amaero Inc. (ASX: 3DA)
On 19 August 2026, reported FY2026 revenue of A$18.1 million, improved 376% from FY2025. 3DA completed its 3 year A$72M investment program on schedule and budget, redomiciled to the United States and moved into larger scale commercial operations.
Amaero commissioned its third EIGA Premium Atomizer in June 2026, giving three units: one refractory and two titanium. Annual capacity reached about 200 MT refractory and 480 MT titanium powders. Testing with Auburn Universityβs NCAME qualified C103 and Ti64 powders to stated international standards.
Fourth quarter revenue reached A$7.8 million, rising 417% year-on-year. Multi-year agreements included Velo3D, Titomic, Knust-Godwin, United Performance Metals and Continuum Powders. A A$6.5 million U.S. Department of War contract was awarded after year-end, while BPMI delivered submarine components and later provided Amaeroβs first production contract.
For FY2027, Amaero plans to commission a fourth atomizer by June 2027 and argon recycling in Q1 calendar 2027. 3DA entered FY2027 with A$23.1 million contracted backlog including A$8.5 million secured since 30 June 2026.
