Bank of Queensland is rebuilding its strength by blending digital transformation and disciplined cost control to emerge as one of the most promising banks in Australia.

Bank of Queensland Limited (ASX: BOQ)

is showing steady progress in its transformation journey by turning itself into a more digital focused bank.
The bank has been working to improve its financial strength and customer experience through new digital upgrades.
In FY2025, BOQ posted cash earnings after tax of about $383 million which is up by 12% from last year. This growth mainly came from better cost control and improved productivity.

The rollout of its new digital mortgage platform along with shifting ME Bank customers to the cloud has made operations simpler and more efficient which sets up BOQ for stable growth in upcoming years.
On the operational side, the bank is managing to keep a good balance between profits and efficiency as the net interest margin moved up to 1.64%.

BOQ is also running a $250 million productivity program and working with tech partners like Capgemini to bring more automation and efficiency by FY26.
Its push towards business lending with higher returns and expanding its digital services has already started improving return on equity and giving the bank a stronger base for future margins.
BOQ announced a fully franked final dividend of $0.20 per share with ex-dividend date of 29 October 2025 and payment date of 21 November 2025, giving a yield of 2.81%.

Going forward, BOQ plans to keep simplifying its business, improving its funding sources and using digital innovation to serve customers faster and better.

The portfolio is well secured with less than 13% of unsecured lending and careful risk management with asset finance portfolio diversified across multiple geographies and channels, the bank looks in a good place to handle the changing economy and keep creating value for shareholders.
