Hawk Resources Limited (ASX: HWK)
Hawk Resources Limited (ASX: HWK), on 17 June 2026, announced a cultural heritage survey at the Olympus scandium project in Australia. The area shows a large scandium soil anomaly of more than 500 ppm across 7 km by 4 km, with RAB drilling returning up to 11 m at 934 ppm Sc and single metre samples reaching 2,164 ppm from surface. The survey aims to secure Traditional Owner clearance, with approvals also sought from WA authorities. Exploration is planned for Q3 2026.
Further work includes seeking ministerial consents to allow exploration start in Q3 2026, followed by verification soil sampling over the Olympus area and, depending on results, detailed sampling during Q3βQ4 2026.
On 15 June 2026, assays at Cactus Corridor, Utah extended near surface copper-gold-silver mineralisation including 71.7 m at 0.45% Cu from 20.3 m with drilling resuming July 2026 again reported.
Imugene Limited (ASX: IMU)
Imugene Limited (ASX: IMU), on 9 June 2026, announced that its azer-cel therapy has received FDA Fast Track designation for two types of blood cancer, which include CLL/SLL and marginal zone lymphoma (MZL). It has been noted that in initial results from Phase 1b trial, it exhibited 100% response rate among CLL/SLL patients who have not undergone CAR-T therapy before and 83% response rate in MZL patients. This status helps speed up testing and review with the FDA and may support faster approval steps later.
Azer-cel is a ready-made CAR T cell therapy that uses donor cells and can be given in a few days, instead of weeks like standard personalised CAR T treatments. It is being tested in patients with serious blood cancers who have few remaining options after earlier treatments stop working.
On 28 May 2026, Imugene also treated its first patient in a new study combining azer-cel with a BTK inhibitor for mantle cell lymphoma across US and Australian trial sites.
Botala Energy Limited (ASX: BTE)
Botala Energy Limited (ASX: BTE), on 15 June 2026, reported progress at the Serowe CBM Project, where the Pitse Pilot well 3.5B is prepared for stimulation and flow testing. The production casing has been installed, cemented, and pressure tested, and perforation was completed across the Serowe Seam, which includes a 13 m coal zone with an 11 m continuous section. A step-rate test will begin first, followed by stimulation work and a planned 90-day flow test to measure gas and water response. Dewatering is ongoing in nearby support wells, with gas already seen in two of them.
The well completion work included logging, cement bonding checks, and confirmation of casing strength. This ensures the well is sealed accurately for controlled stimulation within the target coal layers.
The project forms part of a multi-phase development in Botswana aiming to produce natural gas for power, industry, and LNG supply, with further wells and infrastructure planned after testing results.
