ASX small cap stock Elementos unlocking full potential of its Tin project
Elementos Ltd is benefit from on both historical and new data to unlock the full potential of its Cleveland Tin Project. Through a multi commodity focus and strategic positioning in critical minerals, the company is well placed to benefit from strong global demand and supply shortages. Investors are seeing this as a unique opportunity to gain exposure to high value metals essential for modern technology.
Elementos Limited (ASX: ELT)
saw its share price rise 15.79% on 23 January 2026 after an important update from its Cleveland Tin Project.
Newly assayed sections from previously unsampled 1980 drill core (C1570) have confirmed additional tungsten, rubidium and bismuth mineralisation within the upper Foleys Zone.
Drill results show 2m at 0.682% WO₃, 4m at 0.19% WO₃, and 1m at 2.02% WO₃. These will help update the tungsten Mineral Resource Estimate of 3.97 Mt @ 0.28% WO₃ in February 2026.
ELT will test recovery of key minerals like tungsten and rubidium, with promising ore sorting results supporting Cleveland’s development as a multi-commodity tin-copper and tungsten project.
Elementos’ portfolio not only focuses on tin but also provides exposure to a range of critical minerals. Global competition and geopolitical factors are increasing the importance of securing resources like tin, tungsten, copper, molybdenum, rubidium, bismuth, fluorite and zinc.
Australia has recently added tin and copper to its Minerals List whereas tungsten and fluorine are classified as critical minerals. This positions ELT to meet growing demand for essential metals used in technology, electrification and automation.
Tin prices continue strong globally with Europe experiencing a notable supply gap. European and North American regions produced no primary tin in 2024–2025 relying heavily on imports.
The Oropesa project is uniquely placed as the only integrated mine to metal tin operation in the European Union providing a secure supply chain to manufacturers. Rising production costs in Asia and high delivery premiums in Europe and North America further support the economic potential of Elementos’ projects.
