With investor confidence building and share prices gaining momentum, several ASX-listed companies are trading near their 52-week highs. Take a look at the key factors driving their recent performance.

DPM Metals Inc (ASX: DPM)

On 18 August 2026, announced that it has achieved commercial production at its Vares silver-gold mine by exceeding an average of 60% of design throughput capacity and recoveries over a period of 30 consecutive days. Its daily throughput during this period averaged 72% of the plant’s design capacity which exceeds the benchmark for commercial production.

DPM has recently announced its second quarter results on 31 July 2026, delivering exceptional financial results as the company generated $227 million of free cash flow and reported net earnings of $230 million for the second quarter. Β

The company is working on multiple programs with a production of 102,690 gold equivalent ounces(GEO) in second quarter and 186,732 GEO in the first half of 2026. The company is on-track to achieve the full year production guidance.

DPM has a market capitalisation of approximately 14.54 billion and has also announced a dividend of 4cpu, payable on 15 October 2026. The company has ended the quarter with strong position with ending cash and cash equivalent balance of $762.2 million, justifying the investor confidence in the company to make it trade near its 52 week high range.

Midas Minerals Limited (ASX: MM1)

On 17 August 2026, announced its latest drilling results from Spaatzu Prospect at its Otavi Copper Project in Namibia.Β  The area has been successfully drill tested for 1.2km and has been increased to an area of 4km which demonstrates strong zones of mineralisation.

On 10 August, company announced its results for first diamond drill hole completed at the Deblin deposit on the Otavi Copper Project. The drilling results came out higher than expected with a potential for mineral rich exploration further. Drill hole DBDD001 intersected two wide zones of strong copper sulphide mineralisation with even further essays expected during the third quarter of the calendar year.

Earlier the company announced its June quarter results last month stating strong exploration progress, with high-grade copper-silver results at T-13. Midas raised $28 million through issue of shares, ending the quarter with $29.2 million in cash supporting accelerated exploration and feasibility activities.

Midas has a market capitalisation of around $285.71 million and has demonstrated strong performance recently with multiple projects building investor confidence in the company and making it trade near it 52 week high range.

FleetPartners Group Limited (ASX: FPR)

As of 13 August 2026, has become the focus of a competitive takeover process, with the board agreeing to provide limited due diligence access to parties assessing potential proposals for the company.

The development follows approaches from SG Fleet, Element Fleet Management and ORIX, with SG Fleet recently lifting its proposal to $4.00 per share. The latest offer could further intensify competition for the vehicle leasing and salary packaging provider, particularly given the strategic value of its expanding novated leasing business.

The company’s Q3 FY26 update also pointed to improving operating momentum, with new business written increasing 24% year-on-year in Q3 to $246 million and 8% over the nine months to June. AUMOF grew 6% year-to-date, while core income rose 7%. FleetPartners’ market capitalisation has also increased significantly to around $897.25 million, supported by a series of successful events by the company.

Management upgraded FY26 new business written expectations to high-single-digit growth, while AUMOF is expected to increase at a mid-single-digit rate. Combined with improving operations and heightened takeover interest, the stock is now trading around its 52-week high, reflecting stronger investor confidence and the market’s positive view of the company’s outlook.
